The Real Story Behind the Impeachment Fiasco
I announced that I was retiring from talk radio last year, after a series of Internet connectivity issues made it impossible to continue. On top of the technical problems, I was just flat burned out, having done the show weekly since around 2003 or 2004.
During the time off, I have heard from several people who have missed having the show as a resource. I also found that after about 6 months, I gradually started missing it somewhat myself. More than anything, I missed interacting with the audience, which, became kind of an extended family to me. There have also been people I’ve wanted to interview, but without the show, there is no reason to interview them.
Having had time to reflect, rest, and twist the arm of Frontier to fix the Internet connectivity issues, I can now say that I am planning on bringing the show back, beginning October 19th. Vicky Davis will be co-hosting with me again. I am looking forward to it.
Our return comes at a critical time in our country’s history. The Democrats have tried for the last four years to execute a coup on our sitting president. I’m not a fan of Donald Trump, but he was duly elected by the people and deserves to finish out his term. Even before Trump was sworn in, they started talking about impeachment and have dragged the nation through four long years of phony hoax investigations and inquiries into Russian collusion that never existed. Now, they are attempting to take it to the next level by dragging the nation through an impeachment inquiry over something that serves to be more damaging to Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, than it ever will be to Donald Trump. Is the democrat hatred of Donald Trump so intense that it clouds their judgement that much? Do they really think they can successfully impeach and remove Trump from office without him committing any crimes worthy of said impeachment?
I don’t have a crystal ball, but I have a pretty good idea that this is going to backfire on the democrats. Even if Nancy Pelosi is able to get the House to vote for impeachment, the Senate, controlled by republicans, would have to vote to convict him. And convict him for — what, exactly? Making a phone call to a foreign leader? Last time I checked, that’s exactly what presidents do. Urging the foreign leader to investigate a crime? Sounds like something the president should be doing. Using his position for political purposes? You tell me what president hasn’t done that. It certainly isn’t illegal.
The truth of the matter is that Joe Biden bragged about how he bullied then Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko into firing a prosecutor for looking into Biden’s son’s activities. Joe Biden was proud about the fact that he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees unless Poroshenko got rid of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.
“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired,” Biden said at a Council on Foreign Relations event. “And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.” Solid meaning that someone Joe Biden approved of.
Who is more guilty here? Biden freely brags about using his office as vice-president to benefit his son, thwarting attention away from Hunter Biden by a prosecutor. Biden admits to threatening to send a country into bankruptcy unless they do something to benefit him personally. Yet, Trump is guilty of high crimes because he asked the Ukrainian leader to investigate?
Hello pot. Meet kettle.
The truth of the matter is that it was the democrats who have been involved in using foreign governments to meddle into the elections, and it goes way back before the 2016 election. The Hillary Clinton State Department was involved in a coup against Ukraine, ousting Viktor Yanukovych through an “Orange Revolution”. Victoria Nuland, the State Department spokeswoman, admitted prior to the revolution that the U.S. had been meddling into their affairs and had “spent five billion dollars” working to undermine the government there.
Then, Nuland was embroiled in scandal when a leaked telephone conversation emerged where she was plotting who to best put in charge to run the Ukraine government. So much for building “democratic” institutions! Her phone call received widespread coverage due to the saltiness of her language in reference to the European Union. We know the conversation is authentic as Nuland later apologized for her “F#ck the EU” comment. But they were picking the leadership of Ukraine at that time. The Orange Revolution followed, which installed the people they wanted to install.
After that, the Democrats used the Ukraine government they installed as a tool to attempt to change the outcome of the 2016 election. James Comey’s FBI set up a permanent office inside the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), which released unsubstantiated accusations against Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, leading to his resignation just a few days later.
Foreign meddling in the U.S. election is the accusations that the democrats have leveled against the republican president. Yet, there is no proof that Trump is guilty, as proven by the circus clown, Robert Mueller, and his acrobat freak side show “investigation”. But the democrats are provably guilty of exactly the evil of which they accuse Trump. If we had an honest media, they wouldn’t stand a chance of getting away with the biggest political scam in our lifetime.
The only hope that America has at learning the truth are the millions of independent broadcasters and writers who work to steer the populace toward the truth.
